The Soil Assessment
How fertile is the ground for transformation in your organization?
Every transformation begins with a seed: a strategy, a structure, a new set of values. Whether the seed grows depends on the soil. This assessment measures five conditions that make organizational soil fertile: Trust, Purpose, Safety, Learning and Rhythm.
The five conditions
- Trust: Do people believe what we say?
- Purpose: Do people know why this matters?
- Safety: Can people speak up and breathe?
- Learning: Do setbacks become fuel?
- Rhythm: Do our routines hold without heroics?
What you will receive
At the end you will see your soil profile: a score and band for each of the five conditions, your overall soil band, and your lowest condition as the place to start.
How to complete it
- Answer for your organization as you actually experience it, not as you wish it were. There are no right answers.
- There are 25 statements and it takes about 10 minutes. Go with your first instinct.
- Choose one number for each statement using the scale below.
- Responses are confidential. Results are reported only for groups of five or more people.
